There's More to Come - MLK Weekend Worship
Sun, Jan 14th 10am - 11am
Sanctuary & Online (Facebook/YouTube)
First Congregational Church, UCC 1 South Main Street Randolph, MA 02368

The first Creation account sets us up for something more from the very beginning. "In the beginning," God creates, sees that's good, and one day after another begins to unfold. Creation didn't begin and end in one day. There's more to come. John the Baptist had a thriving ministry with many coming to him to be washed of their sin. And yet, he was not the be-all-end-all. Something more... SomeONE more was about to come on scene. There's more to come. Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr stepped into an instrumental leadership role within the Civil Rights Movement... a position cut entirely too short. Other have picked up the torch and carried it now from generation to generation. And there's more to come. As we worship on Sunday, January 14 amid the Martin Luther King weekend, let us see how it is that we now carry on the work begun by others... in how we continue Creation, how we prepare the way, and how we work to ensure the movement never dies. Let's see how it is that we are part of the "more to come."
