BIBLE BOOT CAMP
Faith-Full Affirmations Set to Launch
Hey there, Holy Troublemakers! Get ready to embark on a transformative journey with Faith-Full Affirmations, our “Confirmation”-style program designed for both adults and youth at First Congregational Church, UCC.
What's in Store?
Dive into the depths of your faith with our three-module program, each consisting of five engaging sessions:
1. Bible Bootcamp: Perfect for beginners or those looking to refresh their Bible knowledge.
2. Belief & Belongings: Explore the essence of community, theology, and our denomination, the United Church of Christ.
3. Faith Practice*: Discover traditional Christian practices and new ways to deepen your faith.

- Ready to become a covenant member? This is your chance!
- Eager to deepen your faith and community bonds? You're in the right place!

When: Five consecutive Wednesdays, starting April 24, at 10:00 am EST and 6:30 pm EST.
Where: Join us onsite in the church Parlor or online via Zoom.

How to Participate
Simply show up on the day or let Rev. Timoth know in advance.
Note: Aspiring covenant members must complete two modules, with Beliefs & Belongings being one of them. Youth participants in our Faith-full Affirmations program require adult accompaniment.

Sunday School (onsite)
From September until June, children in pre-K through 8th grade are invited to begin in worship on Sunday mornings and then transition to Sunday School where they gather to encounter God in story, activities, games and crafts.
Bible Study (hybrid)
Join others as we take a deeper dive into the ancient texts. All levels of learners are welcome. Come encounter God in the words of scripture and grow in your faith and understanding of who God is calling you to be.
Faithful Affirmations (hybrid)
Faith-Full Affirmations is a "Confirmation" style program for those ages 13 and up (adults included).
This program is for anyone wishing to strengthen their knowledge of the Bible, explore various faith practices and what it means to belong. Faith-Full Affirmations also works as a gateway for membership for those wishing to take a deeper step in participation within our faith community.
Racial Justice Book Discussions (online only)
In our work to be Bold in our efforts to dismantle racism, our Racial Justice Book Discussions provide an opportunity for learning and sharing in an environment that allows for both challenge and vulnerability. Join with others from across the nation as we work to dismantle racism and put an end to white supremacy.
