"UNSEEN" - June 1
Sometimes freedom begins in the shadows. A girl enslaved, a jailer who doesn’t yet see, a prayer from Jesus that we would all be one. This week, we begin at the edges, where people and stories often go unseen. But what if the Spirit is showing up there first? What if becoming “one” starts by seeing what we’ve ignored?
Acts 16:16–34 & John 17:20–26
"UNSPOKEN-FOR" - June 8
At Pentecost, the Spirit doesn’t stick to the script. She speaks through the unexpected, the overlooked, the uncredentialed. Jesus promises an Advocate who will live in us and keep revealing truth. This week, we ask: Who has been spoken over, spoken for, or silenced altogether? And how do we make room for voices that were always meant to lead?
Acts 2:1–21 & John 14:8–17

"UNFINISHED" - June 15
Faith isn’t a finished product, it’s a process. A becoming. A tension between what is and what could be. Jesus tells his followers, “There’s more to say, but you’re not ready yet.” This week, we hold space for what’s still growing... in our lives, in our communities, and in the Church. Because being “unfinished” isn’t a weakness. It’s a holy beginning.

"UNHEALED/UNTOUCHABLE - JUNE 22
This week, we meet someone shackled by fear and stigma. Someone society cast out. Someone Jesus saw. The truth is, many of us carry wounds the Church has tried to ignore... queer folks, yes, but also trauma survivors, neurodivergent folks, people who’ve been told to keep their pain quiet. In the kin-dom of God, no one is too broken to belong. We are healed, not by hiding, but by being held.
Galatians 3:23–29 & Luke 8:26–39

"UNSETTLED" - June 29
Jesus sets his face toward Jerusalem, and everything becomes urgent. The kin-dom doesn’t grow through comfort. It grows through courage. Paul reminds us that freedom isn’t self-indulgence, it’s love that bears fruit. This final week of Pride Month invites the whole Church to get unsettled, and to follow the Spirit into liberation we didn’t plan for, but deeply need.
