SheBop Swing Orchestra (SBSO) aims be a catalyst for change within the jazz industry, where gender equality is celebrated and diversity is embraced. We envision a future where women and non-binary individuals are recognized and respected as instrumental contributors to jazz, both on and off the stage. Through our unwavering commitment to artistic excellence, community engagement, and educational outreach, we aspire to inspire and empower future generations of jazz musicians, breaking down barriers and ensuring a more equitable and diverse jazz landscape. Together, we will redefine and reimagine the possibilities of jazz, fostering a harmonious, inclusive, and vibrant musical community for all to enjoy.

The Late Show's Gospel Choir
On Saturday, December 9, as part of the Randolph Winter ONEderland, First Congregational Church, UCC hosted The Late Show's Gospel Choir for a free concert.

Music Ministry
Music allows us to connect with God and each other in a joyful way. In our church it is a vital and exciting element of our worship services and we invite you to participate!
Senior Voice Choir
Our four part Voice Choir shares music of many different styles to enhance our worship service each Sunday. The choral pieces help to set the tone for entering a worshipful space, and then build to joyful praise of our Lord.
During the voice choir’s summer season break, members of our church community and beyond offer vocal or instrumental solos or ensembles during worship.
We welcome all singers to join us. If you would like to sing with us, or get more information about this opportunity, please contact our Director of Music Ministry, Jeff Hobart.
Chapel Chimes
The Chapel Chimes is a handbell group open to adults (high school and older) who wish to “make a joyful noise unto the Lord". This group traditionally rings on the last Sunday each month during worship service and performs seasonal concerts open to the public.
Praise Band
Our praise band including keyboard, guitars, drums, percussion and bass, provides music throughout our worship services.
