Black History Month Worship Series - God Rejects Hollow Faith
Sun, Feb 8th 10am - 11am
First Congregational Church, UCC 1 South Main Street Randolph, MA 02368

God is not impressed by faith that sounds right but leaves people bound. In scripture, God does not mince words. In Isaiah 58, God rejects fasting, worship, and prayer that ignore injustice, exploitation, and suffering. In Matthew 5, Jesus tells his followers that faith is meant to be salt and light… visible, disruptive, and life-giving. God Is On the Side of Liberation: God Rejects Hollow Faith Sunday, February 8 10:00am ET Onsite & Online Faith that avoids justice is hollow. Faith that liberates is alive.
