God’s table is not an exclusive dinner party. It is a feast for all. A place where barriers collapse, tears are wiped away, death does not have the final word, and people once pushed to the margins discover that a place has already been prepared for them. Jesus tells a story about an invitation that keeps expanding, moving beyond the expected guests and out into the streets. The invitation refuses to remain trapped inside the walls. For the final Sunday of our series, a child’s chair will be added to the sanctuary installation, reminding us that the church we are creating is not only for those already here. We are preparing a place for generations still to come. And even with all those chairs gathered, we will leave space for more. Because “fill every seat” is not about attendance numbers. It is about building a community in which every person can experience dignity, belonging, love, and the abundant welcome of God. The invitation is still going out. The table is still expanding.
